My Aim Is True (49th Anniversary Edition) retrace l’histoire des débuts de Declan MacManus, avant qu’il ne devienne Elvis Costello. Ce coffret complet de 5 CD comprend 104 titres, dont 52 morceaux inédits, des démos, des prises alternatives et des enregistrements live. La collection comprend également un livret de 72 pages rédigé par Elvis Costello, avec des photos inédites, des paroles manuscrites tirées de ses carnets et des extraits de son journal intime de 1976, datant de la période où il enregistrait "My Aim Is True".
CD1 : My Aim Is True (Remaster 2026 Remaster) : remasterisé à partir des masters analogiques originaux de 1977.
CD2 : The Blue Print : comprenant 14 enregistrements inédits réalisés au Hope & Anchor Studio entre 1975 et 1976, sous la direction technique de Dave Robinson.
CD 3 : The Stranger In The House : 13 titres inédits, dont des morceaux de Flip City, le groupe d’EC en 1975, une nouvelle découverte issue Ms. Dore's Tape.
CD 4 : Becoming The Attractions : un parcours à travers des enregistrements live retraçant l’ascension des Attractions au rang des meilleurs groupes de scène de la planète, comprenant la « version live » inédite de (The Angels Wanna Wear My) Red Shoes enregistrée pour Top Of The Pops ainsi que des prestations live tirées de l’émission de Mavis Nicholson.
CD 5 : Covered In Clover : EC avec Clover, 40 ans plus tard, en concert au Great American Music Hall en 2007, interprétant l’intégralité de *My Aim Is True* avec des rappels !
